FC Porto are champions again, and the night at the Dragão had the full shape of a title celebration. The team beat Santa Clara on the final day, lifted the trophy in front of a packed stadium, and then carried the party into the city, with the Aliados and Ribeira turning into one vast blue-and-white celebration.
The air and aerospace festival will run from 19 to 21 June, with events in Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Maia and Matosinhos. The official programme includes air races, aerobatics, drone shows, aircraft exhibitions, music and family-friendly activities, with several moments open to the public.
Porto dominated possession and chances but could only muster a draw against resilient Nottingham Forest, thanks to a quickfire own goal reply. Vítor Pereira, the beloved former Dragons coach now at Forest's helm, received a heartfelt tribute from the home crowd ahead of kick-off.
Over one weekend, Porto’s historic centre became a living map of visits, workshops, concerts and open doors, marking the Day of Historic Centres with more than sixty activities spread across Ribeira, Sé and Vitória.
