On January 10th, the Batalha Centro de Cinema in Porto will host a unique film screening curated by renowned Portuguese filmmaker Salomé Lamas. This event is part of the Contemporânea Film(e) project, an initiative celebrating contemporary art through cinema and video.

The Curator: Salomé Lamas

Salomé Lamas is a prominent figure in the Portuguese artistic scene, recognized as a filmmaker, visual artist, and educator. With a career spanning over fifteen years, Lamas has produced more than thirty projects, exploring the boundaries between cinema and visual arts. Her work, which often challenges narrative conventions, has been exhibited internationally at film festivals, galleries, and museums.
