International tennis competition in the city of Porto

The Eupago Porto Open takes place between july 29th and august 4th at the Monte Aventino Sports Complex, with several portuguese players competing.

Taking place in the city of Porto, between July 29th and August 4th, is the Eupago Porto Open, the city's international tennis competition, included in the ITF and ATP Challenger Tour, and held at the Monte Aventino Sports Complex. The event is organized by the Porto Tennis Association, in partnership with the Portuguese Tennis Federation.

The tournament runs until this sunday, with several portuguese players in action, both in singles and doubles categories, with emphasis on young players such as Jaime Faria and Henrique Rocha, 5th and 7th seeds, respectively. The tournament lineup also features a portuguese refereeing team.

Entry is free until August 1st. From the 2nd, the daily ticket price is €6 (approximately £5). For Saturday, the singles semi-finals (11h/11am) and the doubles final (15h/3pm) are scheduled. For Sunday, the singles final is scheduled (11h/11am).
