In a recent statement, the promoter Vibes & Beats highlighted that the shift to Serralves Park seeks to enhance the festival-goers' experience by leveraging the park's ample space and excellent location. "Serralves, renowned for its quality infrastructure and premium setting at the heart of Porto, is a natural choice for a premium event like the North Festival," said Jorge Veloso, director of Vibes & Bites.

For the 2024 edition, Keane, the celebrated English band, is set to perform on May 25th, commemorating the twenty-year anniversary of their debut album, which will be reissued next year.

Tickets for the North Festival 2024 are available starting Tuesday, with special prices for limited pre-sale. Daily tickets are priced at 55 euros, while a three-day pass costs 99 euros.

With just a month until the North Festival kicks off, anticipation is running high as the event transitions from its previous venue at the Alfândega do Porto to the lush surroundings of Serralves Park. Scheduled for May 24th to 26th, the festival promises an unforgettable experience in its new location.

Jorge Veloso, part of the festival's organizing team, is confident that the move to Serralves Park is a resounding success, offering a significantly larger capacity and improved conditions for attendees compared to previous years at the Alfândega do Porto.

Last year, over 50,000 music enthusiasts flocked to the festival, pushing it to full capacity each day. In response to this overwhelming demand, Serralves emerged as a premium alternative, providing ample space and enhanced amenities for festival-goers.

The festival entrance, located on Bartolomeu Velho Street, grants access to the main stage, secondary stage ("Sunset"), production area, VIP section, and restroom facilities. Food vendors are conveniently situated near the stables, ensuring easy access to refreshments throughout the event.

This year's lineup boasts a roster of powerhouse bands and artists, heightening expectations for an unforgettable weekend. While the main stage lineup is already finalized, additional acts for the "Sunset" stage will be announced shortly, possibly at a press conference, according to Jorge Veloso.

Alejandro Sanz, the renowned Spanish singer, headlines the opening day on May 24th, showcasing his decades-long career with hits like "No Tengo Nada" and "Corazón Partío." Joining him are Myke Towers, Maria Becerra, Iñigo Quintero, and Nininho Vaz Maia, representing a diverse array of Latin music talent.

The following day features the British alternative rock band Keane, along with Tom Odell, Birdy, The Reytons, Plaza, and the recent addition of Wiu, the Brazilian singer and rapper known for his chart-topping tracks.

Closing out the festival on May 26th is an electrifying lineup including Nelly Furtado, Claudia Leitte, Bell Marques, Grupo Menos É Mais, and Wiu.
